Career and Psychological Services Center
Confidential individual, couples, family, and group counseling services, as well as psychological, and educational assessment services are available to students at no cost(except for testing fees). First time clients will be asked to show a valid ID card to verify current status at the time of application for services and a copy will be retained in the client file. Walk in crisis counseling is available during regular office hours and after hours on call crisis counseling is available by calling 678-HELP(4357) -ask for a counselor. Hudson Health Center
Medical services are available to all students, faculty, and staff. Students enrolled at the university are not charged an access fee. Most routine diagnostic and laboratory analyses are at no charge, but there are fees for dispensary medications and vaccinations. A current University ID must be presented for admission. Student Health Center is an accessible, cost effective health care facility that emphasizes campus wide health promotion, disease prevention, and acute episodic outpatient medical care. Psychological Services Center
The Psychological Services Center offers a wide range of services to the university and general public. Fees for services at the center are based on the total family income of the client. Students at the university who are enrolled in at least part time are eligible for a special low fee. Addtiionally, University of Memphis faculty and staff recieve a substantial discount for all services. Please contact the clinic for more specific information:

Memphis STEPS (Suicide Training, Education, and Prevention Services)
Memphis STEPS is a campus based suicide prevention program funded by SAMHSA(Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) that works to raise awareness of suicide as a public health concern. Memphis STEPS offers training to students, faculty, and staff to help them in recognizing the signs and symptoms as well as how to help someone who may experiencing a suicidal crisis. In addition, they educate the campus community through presentations that may be scheduled throughout the year. For more information, please contact:
